Minor Change in Telangana Logo

A minor change in the official logo of the Telangana government has been approved by the authorities. With this minor change, the words ‘Satyameva Jayate’ in Hindi are now brought just below the national emblem - the Lion Capital.

According to sources, the separation of the words ‘Satyameva Jayate’ and the lion capital has dragged into many controversies. Also, the experts opined that the placement of ‘Satyameva Jayate’ below the green-coloured circular logo was not supposed to be as it is now. Following these objections and the points put forward by the eminent people, the government is believed to have asked for making the slight change. Eminent artist Ale Laxman, who designed the Telangana State logo, made the necessary changes and submitted the amended logo to the Chief Minister’s office, reportedly.

The government logo has a decorated Kakatiya arch in the circular emblem in green colour with the Charminar image at the centre. Government of Telangana in English, Telangana Sarkar in Urdu and Telangana Prabhutuvam in Telugu is written in the circular logo.
